It's not the stereotypes that bug me but the implied consequences.
I'm tired of being told that I won't have a fulfilled life if I don't go outside a lot and socialize with people I don't like. Which is ironic because the life I chose myself and am comfortable with the most is more fulfilling than simply following social conventions in hopes to be accepted.



If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.
