Wrong. Granted they are in external enclosures, but they do exist.
Not only do they exist, but they will eventually be released into other channels soon, Sony will then support them out of the gate.
Credit where credit is due to Sony... At least they are being proactive.

It's competitor does and the PS4 does play back DVD's. So I just assumed from a hardware perspective nothing was stopping it.
