Jeebus. You can put in "microchips" now to act as programming flags and switches! The potential there is absolutely limitless. I wonder how deep the logic goes...
And you can get frozen and use that as a gameplay mechanism to do things you couldn't otherwise! It's crazy!
Good to see the PS Eye is integrated, but what they really need to do is bring in that technology the PS Blog was showing off a while back. With that, you could take a picture of any object or sketch and it would analyze the outline and turn it instantly into an object in the game world. It would be freaking perfect for this game. Imagine you need to build a fairly complicated shape to use as a piece in a machine you're making. Building it with the in-game shape tools could be awkward, but suppose you could just draw a sketch of it on paper, take a picture of it, and have it instantly usable in the game. Or hell, take a picture of an actual part such as an oddly shaped cog and bring it into the game. If they're not putting that support into the launch product, I sure hope they add it later.
