It depends but anyway since we're talking about singleplayer I could see myself buying it even a year or two from now... I have a really limited budget for Game purchases since I assume NX will come out this year and I give priority to it + the games I missed on Wii U (and if NX happens to not be BC Wii U will have to be added to the "must buy" list) If NX is late 2017 (which is 99.9% likely to not happen) then I might just consider buying a PS4/building a New PC and purchase some games such as Doom
