I agree. They already were not really ready for Xbox one (while they had launched their predecessor ~1 year earlier than Sony).
I don't even think we'll see a xbox slim this year. This gen they are really timid with their hardware and not forward thinking like they were when they released X360.
They should have pushed their Window store way earlier IMO because they can't follow Sony on the VR new market, not before Xbox one successor anyways.
