Yes, they said Wii U ended having higher price than they wanted, remember Wii U is first Nintendo console they sold with loss at launch. Also when Wii U launched had similar power and capabilities like PS3/Xbox 360 but with $100 higher price point. I dont think NX will have price point above $299.

I see. Will be a struggle for them to include the rumoured formless touch screen controller and match the Current gen systems in power,whilst making a profit at $300
