I understand what you mean.If they were, in the first trilogy, to suddenly change up the protagonist, then I would agree, because those three games were about Sheppards story.I completely agree with you.The point is that Andromeda is(most likely) a new trilogy.It takes place centuries after the last game, in a place that the threaths of the first games are gone, and new ones are to emerge.And for that, a new main protagonist makes completely sense. If for you speaking about Mass Effect(as a franchise) is the same as speaking about Shepard, then i can understand.But for me is more about the universe, the species, the setting, and all its history about it.So a new trilogy with a new protagonist makes sense for me |
I guess it is a different way to view it. I'm just not sure about Andromeda at all, to be honest.
