I really didn't dig it at all until after the 1 minute mark. I almost turned it off... Boy am I glad that I didn't. The song starts to sound really good, the lyrics are solid, and the solo is very relaxing.
I'm going to give it about a 7.5/10. Unfortunately I need to dock some points for the intro, which isn't my type.
I'm going to post a really sad song, god it gets me every time I hear it :'(
I'd love an honest rating as well.
