Final Fantasy's framerate is disappointing

That's on low settings, no shadows etc, on a 2 year old $1000 laptop with dedicated GPU. And not a lowest fps, it drops as low as 7fps with more people around. It only reaches 30 fps alone in space. Still a lovely game and it can still take great 8K screenshots, although they can take up to 30 seconds to render!
No chance of me engaging in PVP, put a couple of ships around me and my laptop surrenders for me :)

This is why I've got a desktop and being a PC master race elitist sucks too ...
