Well yeah, Intel can produce competent GPUs when they put some effort but the problem is the cost of them in comparison with AMD that gets a similar result but with less money. Take for example the Broadwell family, they have more GPU power that the A10 series but they cost twice as much. If we compare the performance difference it is better to get a dedicated GPU and a not-so powerful CPU rather than using the Broadwell CPU if you have room for it.
