While definitely steep it's not that unusual for a private university in that part of the country...
I went to a private school in north NJ; it was only possible because my father's job paid half...

New Jersey is a cool state, but please advise your sibling not to go anywhere near heroin; it's destroying communities throughout the state, rich, poor, white, black, immigrant, etc...
My friends who grew up in NJ all dread going home to visit family and friends because every time they do, they find out about classmate who has overdosed...
Some of these friends went to inner city schools, while others went to smarmy boarding schools for the rich...
