But that's the thing, not many games can sell "many million" units (even if that means just a couple million games), no matter how hard some devs try to. It's because of that, that reading from Pachter that a game will sell that amount only to then label it as "not worth it" is so wrong.
And that's an even worse with a game like Shenmue 3, that has a Kickstarter campaign behind it.
