I did my PhD in math, so I've taken quite a few courses (feel free to ask more details if you're curious). My research area was analytic number theory, but I also enjoyed upper-level classes in extremal combinatorics, graph theory, complexity theory, operator theory, and measure theory/probability, My least favourite courses were undergraduate statistics and differential equations (but that gets much more interesting/theoretical in grad school).
