Because the extra FPS isn't worth the wait if I want to play it now.  I have a system that will play it.  So I'll buy whatever I can get it on.  

I'm a PC gamer, but contrary to popular opinion on here, we're not all graphics whores.  I just tend to try and get the best version available at the time.
