MCV: PSVR Could Become The 'Must Have' Christmas Gift Of 2016

First my local store needs to actually get their hands on some.

Why is PSVR as a gift surprising and all those PS4's and XBox One's at launch not?
I'm sure plenty iPad's will be gifted as well again.
