Its simple. Putting your games on a closed competting platform is not the same as putting your game on an Open Platform. Sony doesnt even need to support Windows like others have said they could allow their Store on Linux. Plus i really dont think anyone here is really trying to say this will happen anytime soon. We are talking a good bit in the future here.

Things i got right

FFvs13 will go multiplatform and be renamed to FF15. No one here believed me.

All nextgen systems wont be that powerful, No one really liked that opinion.

X1 will become a Windows 10 box and Ms and all companys will release their own Stores for PC. This also wasnt a very liked opinion.

First 2 i was right, last one is still in progress but looks like its turning out right.

I wish most of my history on this site wasnt wiped, so i could bring back up them threads to show ye just how long i been saying that stuff before any of it happened.

But back on topic.

I do not think Sony will bring their exclusive VR games to PC anytime soon if at all. I believe they will just release an official driver for the PSVR.

Doubtful..reason being

They both Nintendo & Sony already have  a Store..

 

Sony and Nintendo are going after recruiting 3RD party Developers , and Studios and Publishers on IOS & Android..

 

No playstation Now released on PC

No virtual Console released on PC

Remote Play is being released on PC..So Sony is looking to stream from Playstation to-> PC , not make Playstation 1st party Exclusives for PC..because there is no proof that they are heading that way to do So..

On the other Hand , Microsoft is..

 

So you are implying Sony would allow 1st party Exclusives to port to a PC store where Microsoft or Valve also could use Marketing message ..you can play...Xbox,PC, and now Playstation Exclusives from single box?

 

And you do not think Sony instead would want that center box to be sold to a Consumer to be Playstation? Instead of helping keep consumers only sticking with a PC? PC is still a box you need to play that Software , So why not promote a playstation box ove helping others not purchase a playstation? Playstation is not an Open platform if PC is all about being an Open platform to Multi platform software companies.

Sony's playstation 1st party for living room console games is not Multi platform.. And 

 

Why start now? That's what 3Rd party and indies are for. 1st party is for playstation consoles for the living room.

 

Who is to say, that Playstation 1st party Exclusives would sell good on PC anyway..the way many post on gamer forums ,via Sony's games are not that great or not really game's. "Playstation has no exclusive games anyway"

 

If you have not noticed , the living Room Playstation 4 Sony 1st party games are not Multiplatform..

 

So why would Sony or Nintendo start now, when they now will have Android & iOS to Also support. I think Mobile is more important to both Sony  and Nintendo than PC Market support. 

 

I mean Sony codesplaystation4 games on a customized version of BSD..so not using DirectX or Windows OS..so again that would be spreading out their resources even more.

I mean if its going to happen would they not jup on such sooner rather than later if there is larger profit in it for Sony..I mean they are with smartphone's and tablets and smart TV's new Playstation studio for smartphone Apr 1st..but no PC support. Other than streaming from playstation ->to PC.
