I do hope more devs create 4k textures though as well as support the res, if most do that within the next 2-3 years I might actually bite the costs and go for a 4k build sooner than later.

We've yet to see how decent and high quality these textures are so I'll wait and see.

There are many mods that add 4K textures to games (Skyrim, GTA V, etc.), but I don't know if there are any games with official 4K textures.

Maybe GRID Autosport, that has a free DLC called "High Res Texture Pack".

Does Middle-Earth: Shadows of Mordor have 4K textures? After all, it asked for cards with at least 6GB of VRAM to run the highets quality texture settings.
