Oh? Most profitable despite the rampant piracy only available on PC, and the constant flash sales/digital discounts synonymous with the platform?

And that statement about how Sony exclusives sell, you were literally just acting like 1.6 million sales on PC at full MSRP $60 with 100% profit margin is a reasonable forecast for Sony if they went Multiplat. Now you're backtracking and saying how they only sell 1 or 2 million on PlayStation platforms, which means they'll sell moderately to significantly less on PC - a paradox presented by your logic.

Sony will keep their exclusive games on their exclusive platforms, save maybe mobile gaming, which is friendly to the ps4 anyway. They do not support competing platforms, period.

But this has nothing to do with the thread.

[Sony has basically free money lying around in the PC and Mobile market, and that's the same for the PSVR if it comes to PC. If they make their own gaming client and don't use Steam or something else, then yes, it's 59.99$ for each digital sale. Just like Microsoft gets 59.99$ for selling Quantum Break on Windows 10 Store. There isn't even a physical copy for PC as far as I know.

Basically almost zero effort and investment for a lot of money.]

Microsoft is leaving free money by not releasing their 1st party games on SteamOS or in playstation or on Nintendo platforms digital networks, its more sales right? Saying free sales is there for the company is one thing, but if it goes against your business model, It may not be conducive to their plans.

See it works both ways , its not just about the money..its about building a Eco system.
