Well yes of course, EA was greedy like always, and decided to make their own client for the EA games instead of paying Valve 30% with each cut. EA receives 59.99$ renevue for each new game I buy on Origin. Instead of 41.99$ on Steam after the 30% cut for Valve.

Ubisoft didn't go that far, their games are still on Steam, but it's the only place to get the Steam version. All keycodes on the internet and physical copies for Ubisoft games redeem on Uplay no Steam.

Yeah and my point was just that unless ALL 1.6 million copies was bought through their store, there is a very small chance that they would actually make that much money off of a port.

Beside Sony can actually ignore that market completely because they have their own platform they want to expand.

Its the same logic as Sony not releasing games on Xbox. They want to increase the value of their own platform by keeping things exclusive.

But like I said, Sony doesn't make any money on the hardware, only on games and PS+
