Again Sony as a company divested themselves of all PC...that's No SOE, no production of PC manufacturing anymore.

Spending more to now spend on PC development outside of Console's is also going to cost more than just spending on console development.

 

Say Sony set up a PC store why would it be for Windows OS at all? If they went with SteamOs its Linux Ubuntu based, Like AndroidOS they both Use The standard Graphics API Vulkan, with Windows they would have to code for Vulkan and DirectX if they want the best performance on Windows OS machines.

Goodluck selling 1.665.228 copies on Linux/SteamOs or Android OS.

Mobile is a larger market than PC that's a fact..and 

Android OS & iOS is a much larger market  than Windows 10.

Because with Microsoft its all about Windows 10

That cuts down on PC gaming under windows OS for Microsoft to = just windows 10 devices.

While Android OS is by itself much larger than Windows 10. Because windows 7 & 8.1 & Vista are not in the unified Windows OS environment.

Sony making playstation now & Vue on them over windows 10..

So why again would Sony need to make a playstation Store for PC?

Sony is about the living room computer entertainment support not the PC market.
