Well you opinion is not wrong but you made the bad choice to want to discuss it on a console site.

In 2011 we had some threads about it and people laughed about the idea that the Japanese gaming market will mostly exist out of mobile games. Since then Japan has grown to the biggest mobile gaming market in the world (maybe surpassed by china this year) and japanese devs literally need(ed) to also develop games for the mobile gaming market. In 2014 the gaming market was estimated around 9.6 billion and around 60% or 5.8 billion was because of the mobile gaming market.

China, is the biggest marketing for Mobile, Consoles are banned there, so Mobile, and PC, are the most used, but they don't play Triple A Games on PC Veri often, the games that make sucess on China, are MMORPG, Moba.

Here is the Estimates from Newzoo, for Gaming revenue of Mobile, PC, and Console, in different countries.

China, is ahead of USA, on Gaming Revenue, with over 22.2 Billions of US$ on Revenue, Japan's Total Market is worth 12.3 Billions in Revenue, i think that they also take Arcade's Revenue.

USA's Gaming revenue is worth 21.96 Billions of US$, acording to Newzoo.
