PS4 selling power?. Look guys, this is silly since we are not talking about an "Exclusive game" here!.. It would be in Sony's best interest, that if they really do see the PSVR as "Its own" platform, to break away from just the PS4!. People who where going to go and get PSVR for their PS4's are still going to go get it.

No one who owns a gaming PC was going to go out and buy a "PS4" just for PSVR when the is still cheaper headsets on the PC and much more games for them to play on PC!.

No one who owns a PS4 is now going to go out and sell their PS4 and buy an expensive PC now that PSVR is on it!.

People who own both a PS4 and a gaming PC will now more then likely Pick up the PSVR over any of the PC headsets, since it works with both of their systems. This is something none of the other headsets can offer.

This will not take away sales for the reasons i stated above however for the same reasons it will boost sales big time.

For instance i was never planning on picking up the PSVR if it wouldnt be possible to work on PC (Since thats where the games are that i want to play).

So i would of went for the Vive or the Rift or maybe even the OSVR. But if Sony allowed this i would pick up the PSVR, since i can then use it on my PS4 also to try out the VR games on that system, something i would of never gave 400 euro to do since i own a gaming pc, and thats where most of my VR gaming will be done thanks to most of my games that i already own working in VR on the system, and im not dependent on Sony or 3rd party support..

Also it would confirm for others who want to get into VR on PC right away that they should just get the other two headsets, coming in 4 years later into a market that would be dominated by the other two and eventually more headsets, that's a bad idea.

OT: Cool for those that want a cheaper headset, not my cup of tea but once I do decide to jump into VR it's likely going to be a Vive or something else.
