How so??. Going by this site alot of PS4 fans also own a "Gaming" PC. So why wouldnt they want to be able to use the one headset on both their systems??.

Taking into account what i said in my other reply to you. Who exactly benefits from if the PSVR stayed only working on PS4?.

The answer would be Sony.

This launch is aimed squarely at the current install but once PSVR is well known PSVR will help sell PS4s. Sony will not want to take away that 'potential' by putting it on PC straight away. It may come to the PC but a lot further down the line.

Tbh, I don't think it actually would benefit Sony.  I think opening it up to the PC Platform also opens Sony up to small-time indie ops, that may create something great (which Sony can then invest in/hire the individual/team).  It also opens the tech to researchers/scientists/insert occupation none of us can predict.  It ends up moving more units, than PS4 exclusivity.
