Provided they stick to their promises I have nothing wrong with this approach. It may have started light on content thanks to it being rushed out for Capcom Cup but it's supposed to be supported with free content for years and years. |
I feel you are wrong.
I knew about the content. I'm disappointed by how they've changed characters for no reason. M Bison with no Psycho Crusher? ChunLi's "lightning leg" is now done with a fireball motion. Can't select a different character when I'm challenged to an online fight.
Not only that, the roster is poor. Most of the characters I used the most didn't even make the cut. Yes, I knew this going in which is why I didn't buy the game until it was out for a week. It would have been a day one purchase. I had to tell myself, "it's Street Fighter. You love Street Fighter!" Still a letdown. I went back and bought SFIV again--which I already bought like three times on 360 and one time on 3DS. I've been playing that on Ps4 instead.
It's possible to know what you're getting into and still be disappointed.
