I recently bought PVZ GW2, fun to play in coop (I hope)
In the old days you bought a multiplayer game, popped in the cartridge, connected a second controller, and go, fun.

PVZ GW2 experience:

You must free up disk space first before starting this app. Ugh why so big.
Day 1 patch downloading, expected.
Long loading time while connecting to EA servers.
Agree to terms and conditions or quit.
Game finally starts with an unskippable movie.
Then you have to walk through some tutorial, I just want a menu!
3D menu with animated intro
Ok how do you start splitscreen, in multiplayer options surely?
Try multiplayer, private match, solo, nothing seems to have an option to add player 2.
Check online, ahh need to go to a seperate splitscreen launcher somewhere else in the 3D menu.
Add player 2, game seems to launch again from the start or maybe a different version?
Long load time, player 2 must make an EA account, FFS!
Ok create another EA account (luckily player 2 already had a fake EMail and psn account to play Minecraft splitscreen)
More loading, crash, report problem, explain what happened...
Relaunch game, save game appears corrupt, overwrite? This boosts my confidence, not.
Luckily I don't get the launch movie again etc, jumps straight into 3D menu, small miracle.
Find splitscreen launcher again, add player 2, game relaunches. Eureka splitscreen!
Now to figure out how to start a match...

All together about half an hour of messing around to start a quick coop match!

Anyone else experience this kinda fun? Games were harder in the past, launching games was a lot easier, especially local multiplayer. Every local multiplayer game seems to have its own specific hurdles to jump through.
