No, if they are smart they will get their services and software on as many platforms and devices as possible.  Sticking to their own devices would be idiotic.  Software and services is where the profit is, NOT devices.  Haven't we worked this out yet?

not always true, plenty of companies have made massive amoutns of money from accessory sales that go along with hardware. Its a bit too one dimensional to look at it from the perspective of "Hardware isn't where the money is!". Tell that to Dell or Lenovo or any of the other giant companies pushing out computer hardware
