Money talks.  If Sony offer the right financial package they will receive an improved version of a mainline monster hunter just like with DQ11.

You are badly mistaken on why I think it will get spinoffs.  The Wii U and Wii got comsole monster hunter games.  The ps4 is the future of Japanese home consoles so I believe future versions like those,  will be released on the ps4.

The Wii got it because it looked like it would sell much more than it did, which is still more than ps4 could dream of. Wiis best year was like year one correct? This was also before MH came to Nintys handhelds. If DS could handle MH then that would have been all she wrote lol. WiiU because it was simply a hd port of the Wii game. Why didn't MH4 Ultimate hit WiiU like MH3 Ultimate? Because home consoles are no longer needed. The future of home consoles in Japan is a joke and they can't be trusted. See DQXI 3DS.

Japan's Console Market is by Farm the Second biggest console market in the World, Japan, would need to fall more than 35% Before someone can take it spot, it will not Decline forever, they don't Track Digital on those researchs, that is something that is Growing, they also count Handheld in those researchs, and the GameBoy, sold more on Japan, than 3DS+Vita, and Gameboy, sold less than Nintendo DS+ PSP, on Japan.

The market can be Flat, or with a Light decline, you make it seems that the Market is Dead, or that will Die, Western games are taking ground on Japan, Wii, was a Worldwide Hit, the Playstation 4, selling more than Playstation 3, is something good for the industrie, we got 1 Final Fantasy Main game last gen, and now we will receive 2, Plus a Dragon Quest Main game, Final Fantasy, and Dragon Quest, are Japan's Finest Third Party franchises.

So, the reasons that you think that the market is on Decline, the Xbox, wasn't a Failure previous gen, it sold 1.6 Millions on Total, and to date it already had sold 1 Millions of units on Japan, if was Last Gen, the Wii, Sold much in his first years, from the 12 Millions it sold from 2006, to 2013-2014 8+ Millions already had sold in the Early 2009, on Japan.

Wii U, releasing 1 game each 2 Months, and the Xbox, being a Failure because of his Policies, does not means that the Japanese market is in Decline, just means that they Rather wait for Something good to came, rather than Purchasing a Next Gen console, because of that the PS3, had, and have so much Support on Japan, Developers know that the Gamers are waiting for the Next Big Japanese games to jump for Next Gen.

As i said before, This Gen to Date, Japan still the Second Biggest console market, so stop of pretending that the Market is Irrelevant, if Japan's Console market is Irrelevant, so just the USA, is a Relevant console Market.
