Okay so I'll finally add my own predictions for April.

  • Quantum Break - 81
  • Ratchet & Clank - 80
  • Dark Souls III -  89
Souls series has been recieved very well with the past few installments and seemingly only doing better and better, but the big concern is if it will suffer from series fatigue, since it does look/feel/play a lot like the previous games. Also this will be the 4th FromSoftware game of this kind in 3 years, and doesn't even use a different approach like Bloodbourne did. Game will be great, just a question of whether or not it will be criticised for being more of the same and not innovating enough.

Ratchet & Clank used to get criticised already on PS3 for being more of the same, and with this being an actual remake, same concerns will apply to an even greater extent. The games' structure also seems a bit outdated by modern standards. Other than that it will look very pretty, run well, raise some nostalgia, and will be a polished experience for 2/3 of the price.

On Quantum Break I'm just going off a personal feeling from seeing some of the gameplay. Despite the whole somewhat innovative time mechanic, the gameplay itself doesn't look very innovative, and the shooting aspects don't seem as polished despite there being some great ideas. Overall it will get praise for trying new things, but criticism for a lack of execution.
