Are console gamers more attracted to gimmicks than PC gamers?

None. Well maybe a few were about 1/8th as successful. And I'm willing to bet a few of them were at least 1/2 as successful as the Wii U gamepad. But the sheer number of them proves there are markets for gimmicky controllers on PC.

For the record I don't think either demographic likes gimmicks anymore than the other. Just wanted to point out that there is no shortage of gimmicks for the KB+M gamer crowd.

The light and touchpad on the DS4 is also a gimmick ;)
