So basically it's 720p with software upscaling and DF was correct. Unlike with killzone, which used images @ ~1000p, this game uses reconstruction from images @ 720p. That's why they have to use 4 previous images else there would be serious image quality issues. This technique also tells us why they had to limit the resolution because the Xbox one's esram size is likely too small to hold images at a higher resolution in order to do the reconstruction at high speeds. Has the esram choice finally shown to be a bad design decision? If MS had went with GDDR5 remedy might have been able to target higher resolutions & framerates.
