I like the philosopy of needing VR to be able to not just give a experiance to the helm user, but also to others in the room.
So they allow for the helmet to show 1 thing, while the TV screen displays another, which then means you can make games where the person with the Helmet on, can be playing against others in the liveing room, who are doing stuff on on the tv screen.
Them going this way, is part of the reason its not cheaper to make, but will perphaps allow for things the other VR headsets cant.
