Not true, think about it for a min...the Vive does not do VR/AR overlays like the playstation move does. That's why have you ever seen Vive do things like the AR effect like those done in Eye Pet? That is a big No.

 

Reason being, to the many amusement of many pointing out about dildo esk sphere on the end of playstation Move has a advantage due to being a sphere when programming allows AR and tracking based on that sphere's metric in Not only non VR but also In VR also.

Dude this has NOTHING to do with AR. You are not AUGMENTING REALITY in anyway. This is just STANDARD VR. 

AR means you augment a live feed of the real world with something computer generated. If you have the PSVR HMD on you can't see your hands anyway so you wouldnt Augment ANYTHING.
