Punitive Damages have been determined:
BREAKING: Hulk Hogan sex video jury awards $25M in punitive damages, above the $115 million already awarded.
— The Associated Press (@AP) March 21, 2016
Interesting to note, per Michael McCann (McCannSportsLaw on Twitter) the MAXIMUM amount the bond can be is $50 million, so the punitive damages of $25 million don't add to whatever amount Gawker would need to put up in order to be able to appeal. Also, Gawker can ask the Judge to reduce the amount of the award. But, the balls now in Gawker's court.
