But Digital Foundry said in their article they couldn't pin down the output resolution. As I said in the other thread, Remedy already showed at siggraph that Ambient Occlusion and shadows were at 720p last year. All games do this. It doesn't mean the output resolution is not 1080p. And DF claim they don't know. For example Forza 6 is 1080p. But you don't think that means its shadows are native 1080p?

Same with Halo 4 on 360. its 720p. But the shadows among other things are not 720p. Halo 5 more recently does not have native 1080p shadows. Nowhere near. It happens with PlayStation games to. Even PC games scale these things.
