most of router have firewall ,,means they tend to slow new connections to the router,,so they can slow your gaming experince,,,,there is an option in the router menu (mos of the router menus are on theri websites,,,provided to you in the instruction)the option is called DMZ(demilitarized zone),,,you have to learn how to DMZ your PS3 PROPERLY(i can explain it to you if you wanted),,,this will allow all the connections from PS3 go through without the fire wall interruption.but again it has to be done properly.
