SKYSHINE'S BEDLAM UNDERGOES MAJOR CHANGES IN REDUX UPDATE

http://www.pcgamer.com/skyshines-bedlam-undergoes-major-changes-in-redux-update/

Last year's “wasteland caravan management sim” Skyshine's Bedlam was pretty good, but we had a few issues with it. Combat was one aspect we cited as problematic in our review, noting that its unforgiving nature “crossed the line from enjoyably brutal to stressful frustration.” That's an element of the game that today's Redux update seeks to address by adding new battle mechanics that enable players to use any or all of their units each turn.

Midgar Studio has released two new screenshots for its upcoming JRPG, Edge of Eternity. Edge of Eternity is an indie tribute to JRPG classics offering a universe blending fantasy with science-fiction, intense ATB battles and branching story. It’s also worth noting that its OST is handled by Chrono Trigger’s composer, Yasunori Mitsuda.

CROTEAM MARKS 15 YEARS OF SERIOUS SAM WITH STEAM TRADING CARDS

http://www.pcgamer.com/croteam-marks-15-years-of-serious-sam-with-steam-trading-cards/

It's been 15 years since Croteam released the frenzied FPS Serious Sam: The First Encounter, a bit of trivia the studio brought up today that makes me feel really, really old. On the upside, it also announced that to mark the moment, which occurs more precisely on March 21, it's adding Steam trading cards to Serious Sam HD: The First Encounter, and its Second Encounter sequel.

>>This is the set of cards.

DARK SOULS 3'S GRAPHICS OPTIONS REVEALED

http://www.pcgamer.com/dark-souls-3s-graphics-options-revealed/

I've been resisting the urge to watch videos or read previews of Dark Souls 3, as I feel I ruined the previous games slightly by soaking up every bit of pre-release info I possibly could. YouTube thumbnails/video titles and tweets have made sure I can't remain unspoiled entirely, but thankfully I'm still largely in the dark about this third and apparently final medieval epic.

LORDS OF SHADOW DEV MERCURYSTEAM MAKING SOME KIND OF SCI-FI GAME

http://www.pcgamer.com/lords-of-shadow-dev-mercurysteam-making-some-kind-of-sci-fi-game/

MercurySteam made the respected Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, and also its...less respected sequel. Still, it's a developer worth keeping an eye on: there was a lot of technical and artistic wizardry in that first game in particular. A few months after posting a mysterious teaser image on its website, the dev has replaced its entire site with a teaser for its mysterious new sci-fi game.

>>There's a teaser site that shows nothing but a loading screen, and the news have 3 pieces of artwork.

GOG'S INSOMNIA SALE IS NOW ON

http://www.pcgamer.com/gogs-insomnia-sale-is-now-on/

Easter is here, and for those in the UK, that means a four-day weekend surrounded by chocolate, full of roast animal and with little reason to do anything but play excellent games. To that end, GOG has launched its annual Insomnia Sale, allowing you to stock up at bargain prices before entering videogame hibernation.

>>They may not be as popular as the Steam sales, but what are you waiting to go take a look?
