I've spent too many hours (days? weeks?) of my life defending the US on the Internet. It's been a dream of mine since I first landed in Florida 9 years ago. I've spent quite a lot of time in NYC and Florida since (typically about a month per year), so I know quite a bit about what's going on. 

Certainly much more than what I knew about Hong Kong before moving here, only research I had done was watching the Rush Hour movies.

I actually find NYC to be very laid back, I find it relaxing to visit :P But then I've been living in the constant-heart-attack of HK.
