1: The OP graphic charts look like they were made by the same source which is odd unless someone produced them as a fact checker aid.

2: Everyone has their own expectations when a new console comes out; if you're in the everything must be exactly as advertised or I smell a class action lawsuit boat, you're probably better off not buying a console until it has all the features and more importantly, the titles you claim to be buying it for.

I bought three consoles over the current generation completely blind (pre-order for day 1 based on prerelease info) and the PS4 is the only one I still use. I'd say I got my use out of it after two years, so any further value I get out of it until I replace it makes it among the best ways I could have spent $400 on entertainment.

Could it have been better? When is the answer to that question ever no?

1: They really do. I don't think they are though as I recall seeing the Xbox One chart in a thread by a vgc member who received it in a mail from MS. I can't remember who it was but I hope the member sees this and confirms/finds the thread.

2: I couldn't have said it better myself. Only buy a console when you're interested in its features/library or else it's your own fault for not waiting/skipping.
