It was advertised as having stereo vision for depth perception and using the light on the controller to determine who is holding what. Yet I don't think anything has actually used those features. Well maybe Just dance, when the light is right it does manage to keep me and my kids apart, most of the time. Much more reliable to use move controllers though. Does anyone use the face recognition and voice controls on ps4? I never tried it, camera is disconnected 99% of the time. |
I agree. The camera is very underused. Good thing they didn't bundle it as originally planned.
I don't know aboout the face recognition as I haven't bought the camera yet. I'm going to when/if I buy the PSVR one day. Voice controls works pretty good even though English isn't my first language and even though I used the cheap headphone with mic that's included with the PS4.
