I read Kotaku, they are actually one of the few websites that only put verified rumors, they have a pretty great ethic.

Their note-less reviews are pretty good, and they have a new editorial line where they decided to keep making articles about games that are already released. About the communities etc. 

yes they have weird articles sometimes. But as gaming journalists goes, they are pretty good. I really don't get the hate.

Gawker though, is mainly trash. But there is some interesting website in the group, io9 is good for example.

If you're not familiar, you'd have to watch interview between him and TotalBiscuit.  Needless to say, it is my opinion that he belongs nowhere near an editor in chief position, and people should always double check sources before trusting anything Kotaku utters.

Yeah, that interview is really revealing - of course, none of the major sites had anything to say about it, cause they were covering their asses as well at the time.
