hands on impressions from people that have used both have clearly stated that psvr has a very good headset that competes very well techinically with OR and vive. OR is 90 hz native while psvr is 60 hz with reprojection to 120, 90 hz native, and 120 hz native. OR and vive have a higher resolution but sony's higher subpixel screen looks better to many people. a lot of the other states are 1:1 identical and psvr is suppost to be much more comfortable to wear.
gist is the "premium" experience of pcvr is almost entirely the difference in the hardware playing the game not in the headset itself.
it's great that you want nextgen graphics for vr but i think you'll be disappointed. graphics wise the vr games are not impressive on any platform. for as long as the consumer base is 0 there is only so much investment any company will make on a game and if psvr outsells pcvr (and it is quite likely) there is little hope that you'll that a AAAA pcvr game because (like every game ever) developers will target consoles and do nothing but increase resolution and framerate on pc.

haha wow I can't even imagine. I can't wait to try VR out. I'm getting one first day guaranteed. If I don't like I can just return it but I need to try this out.
