I have both a PS4 and an XBO and, in the past, it was a no brainer which version of multi-plats to buy. Recently, the decision hasn't been as simple.
The PS4 version of games always had a resolution/fps advantage. A funny thing happened when I was deciding to buy Hitman for one of my consoles: The Xbox version had some minor performance advantages (better framerate in certain areas--worse framerate in others). I'm considering buying The Division, today. Again, there are only minor differences. There was a time when it was always 1080p v 900p on technically demanding games.
At one time, I thought the gap between consoles would only widen (some saying the PS4 is 50% more powerful) but it seems the Xbox One is managing to keep up with the PS4 in terms of technically demanding multi-plats. Your thoughts?
