Wait so we have to like VR or we've got shit taste?.

is that what I said?

I'm saying that most ppl here or anywhere else that speaks against it hasn't tried it yet. I'd didn't say I don't understand how anyone that has tried it won't like it.

I think it's kinda weird that so many people that hasn't even tried something can draw so many conclusions from thi n air. I'll only listen to a VR naysayer, if they first tell me they have actually used the device and used it for more than one game.

I've tried it, and to be honest..... I'm yet to meet a single person that has tried it and doesn't at least wish they can afford it. not that they don't flat out want it.

I've seen some try it and say it's not that great, does that mean they are in denial or a hater?. What happens if I try it and suddenly don't like it, are you just going to go "it's not for you but VR is objectively the best"?.

The way you make it sound as if we all have to like it or we're people that are liars or an easy way to just brand it as "not for you" without being able to criticize the peripheral.

Also we've evolved as a species to be able to judge things based on our taste, smell touch and vision, there are times where someone knows what something may know how painful something would feel just by looking at it, same can be said for smell in order to get a sample taste of something. Telling me I have to put my thumbs to a bunch of plastic sticks in order for me to know how a game plays isn't really completely accurate and just, not with how popular and informative LP's are these days, especially the times I've watched friends playing a game and knowing I'll like or dislike it before I even but my thumbs on those pieces of plastic.

I am going to try VR at some point in a few years time but I definitely know what to expect thanks to the advent of the internet and online videos, interviews, tech specs etc.

So why do you want to fight them?, is it because you're really heavily into VR and want to defend it because you like it and think it's unfair for others not not like it?, why fight them at all and just go on with life, if they don't like it after trying it then that's literally all there will be to it, nothing to come after that unless of course your main goal is to persuade and shift them back to what you like and what you think they should like.

The people you have met don't really account for every single person on the planet and they haven't accounted for me at least.
