Some of those seem like promises while other mentions seem like desires they've had from the start of their entrance to the console space.

I don't like the sound of that at all, it sounds like they want devs to completely drop 7-8 development in terms of games and force everyone else to upgrade to 10, even if they don't want to, I mean they've had no qualms with forcing a good chunk to upgrade via cramming it into an automatic system update.
Tbh I just don't like or agree with some of their plans, I'm honestly just going to wait to see what Steam OS has to offer in time than being part of one glorious walled garden.
Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.
