wasn't the last guardian that long awaited game that was on development for nearly 10 years? i think it was along with half life 3 and shenmue 3 as one of the most anticipated games that fans were expecting to see finished one day, so i don't understand how you don't see it as having much impact, or maybe i missread and you didn't mean it that way.
