http://www.pcgamer.com/tacoma-gets-bumped-into-2017/

Tacoma, the haunting sci-fi exploration game from the developers of Gone Home, has been pushed from a vague date of mid-to-late 2016 to spring 2017.

THE WALKING DEAD: MICHONNE CONTINUES THIS MONTH

http://www.pcgamer.com/the-walking-dead-michonne-continues-this-month/

The first episode of The Walking Dead: Michonne, as measured in our February review, did not make a spectacular splash. “I'm happy she's got her own game, it's just a shame the first episode doesn't live up to her,” we wrote, contrasting the powerfully interesting character with the rote, routine experience of the game itself. “Hopefully, that'll change in the next two.” On March 29, we'll find out.

Hearthstone's 4.2.0 patch has blazed it's way onto the Battle.net launcher, bringing with it the solution to the community's longest standing issue with the game: The lack of deck slots. You can read the patch notes by way of Hearthead, but we can confirm there are now indeed 18 deck slots available for you to create slightly different builds of Secret Paladin.

PLANET LICKER IS A GAME YOU LITERALLY PLAY WITH YOUR TONGUE

As you might imagine, we get a lot of emails asking us to have a look at the various games appearing at the Game Developers Conference, which kicked off today in San Francisco. Included in this year's batch was one for something called Planet Licker. “Each lick of the controller propels a friendly monster through a solar system of flavor,” it said. “Slurp your set of ice pops, and go for a record time!” Okay, you have my attention.

>>Eew!. Wait, there's a video showing how you play: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EpSMthZws4I. More eew!

BATTLEFIELD 4 POST-LAUNCH CONTENT MAY BE COMING TO AN END

http://www.pcgamer.com/battlefield-4-post-launch-content-may-be-coming-to-an-end/

Though it released in 2013, Battlefield 4 received a free expansion in December in the form of Legacy Operations, which introduced a classic Battlefield 2 map to the military shooter. Two years is a pretty good run as far as post-launch support goes, but Legacy Operations may be the last: a statement made by DICE LA producer David Sirland suggests the studio is done developing for the title.

KEEP TALKING AND NOBODY EXPLODES HAS SOLD OVER 200,000 COPIES

http://www.pcgamer.com/keep-talking-and-nobody-explodes-has-sold-over-200000-copies/

Indie VR party game Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes first launched on Gear VR back in June of last year, releasing on Steam a few months later in October. It works like this: one player in VR (or looking at a private screen) attempts to diffuse a bomb while the other players, who have the defusal manual, frantically explain what to do. According to co-creator Ben Kane at his GDC talk today, the idea's a hit: Keep Talking has sold over 200,000 copies. While not quite as impressive as some recent indie hits, it's still a great success—especially considering it was primarily targeted at owners of VR headsets at a time where not many people have them.

KINGS QUEST CHAPTER 3 WILL RELEASE NEXT MONTH, SIERRA CONFIRMS

http://www.pcgamer.com/kings-quest-chapter-3-will-release-next-month-sierra-confirms/

King's Quest Chapter 3: Once Upon A Climb will release April 26, Sierra has confirmed. The five part series is expected to wrap up this year, but not before we indulge in some more lighthearted "romantic comedy" adventures. According to the announcement, King Graham's wife and Gwendolyn's grandmother, Queen Valanice, will make an appearance in this episode. I think you can bet on there being puzzles, as well.

WARCRAFT 3 RISES AGAIN WITH PATCH 1.27

http://www.pcgamer.com/warcraft-3-rises-again-with-patch-127/

The last time Warcraft 3 received a patch was in 2011, but there has been a sudden a flurry of activity in Blizzard’s archives: a few days ago, Diablo 2 got a compatibility patch to make it play nice with modern systems, and now Warcraft has received the same treatment. Patch 1.27a is live now.

STAR WARS DABBLES WITH THE VIVE IN TRIALS ON TATOOINE

http://www.pcgamer.com/star-wars-dabbles-with-the-vive-in-trials-on-tatooine/

The news is full of VR 'experiences' today: Assassin's Creed wasn't too clear on what that means, but for Star Wars the experience looks distinctly game-like. And incredible. Not in the overwhelmingly impressive way—there are about three seconds of footage—but in the realisation-of-a-fantasy-as-old-as-I-am way. Using the HTC Vive, Trials on Tatooine will at long last give us the opportunity to deflect blaster fire with a lightsaber without having to do the sound effects ourselves.

>>I hope it works better than the Kinect one... Here's the trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZDDr6KjSpAY
