Oh jeez, not that short-sighted "price" argument again... Price is only a piece of what makes a product sell. The better the marketing and the more appealing the product, the higher a price people are willing to pay. This isn't rocket science, it's basic economic theory.

100% agreement. I'm just saying, the 250$ price-tag is a lie. After you 'pimp' your Wii, it will cost almost as much as the 'performance' systems...

Hey Kwaad. Welcome back....again....and again your first post back is this same arguement.

I have played Brawl with wiimote+nunchuk, as the person's house I was at didn't even have a GC/Classic controllers, and it was just fine. In fact I have never played Brawl any other way.

I do like the wheel better than the other options, however, if you play online there is a very large segment of people who do not use the wheel.

Buying a Wii is no different in buying a PS360. If you want the 'full' experience for any system you will have a much larger price tag. In the end, the PS360 systems still cost a good chunk more.

However, your biggest flaw is that you are comparing the price of the systems and not their value. Just look on Ebay and notice that people on a much larger quantity are paying MORE for the Wii than the PS360's. That alone shows that in general the percieved value of the Wii is higher.

I really can't wait for the day when the 360 Premium is selling for about the same price as the Wii and the Wii is still outselling it x2. Same will eventually happen with the PS3 as well, it will just take longer for it to get to that price level.
