Supported since launch afaik. And even has it's own peripherals as you can see.
No clue if any games support it though, I only use a keyboard for messages, never tried in game.

I can use to now with Xbox one. But developers have access to fully implement in games this fall. Starting with Halo Wars 2. Phil said Halo Wars 2 will launch with full mouse and keyboard support.
