FROZEN SYNAPSE 2 – FIRST DETAILS + PRE-ALPHA SINGLE-PLAYER GAMEPLAY TRAILER

Mode 7 Games has revealed the first details for Frozen Synapse 2, and has released its first trailer, showing pre-alpha gameplay footage. According to the team, the single player mode is set in a procedurally generated city and Frozen Synapse 2 will add a significant number of new unit classes as well as more detailed individual perks.

CROTEAM RELEASES SERIOUS ENGINE 1.10 FOR FREE TO EVERYONE

Croteam surprised us today as it released the source code of the Serious Engine v1.10 for free to everyone. This engine was used to create both Serious Sam Classic: The First Encounter and The Second Encounter.

Entrada Interactive has released the GDC 2016 trailer for Miscreated. Miscreated is a post-apocalyptic, survival-based multiplayer online game that is powered by CRYENGINE. Miscreated is alsot taking advantage of CRYENGINE’s SVOTI (Sparse Voxel Octree Total Illumination) technique.

Star Citizen is undoubtedly the most successful crowd-funding game to date. Cloud Imperium has been constantly breaking records and today, the team has raised more than $110 million. One of the coolest things of DirectX 12 is its ability to support multiple GPUs from different vendors. This is a feature that is currently supported only in Ashes of the Singularity, and from the looks of it, it may come and to other DX12 games in the future.

MICROSOFT ANNOUNCES CROSS-NETWORK PLAY SUPPORT BETWEEN XBOX ONE & PC

Microsoft has announced native support cross-platform play between Xbox One and Windows 10. As Chris Charla, Director of ID@Xbox, announced today, Microsoft is enabling developers to support cross-network play on games that use Xbox Live. Naturally, developers will have to include this option in their games, however it’s good knowing that such a feature is now officially supported.

PARAGON – EARLY ACCESS PROGRAM BEGINS ON MARCH 18TH
