Ah, I see. Still, we don't see much the month of September after FF7's release and other very notable games released alongside it right before the spike. FF7 didn't do it alone.

I am saying FFVII had the most effect. From launch of FFVII is t he biggest turning point for almost any console.

Like I am trying to be as unbiased as possible because I like Super Mario 64 more then FFVII. But from a sales standpoint its arguable Super Mario 64 didn't do much to push hardware just as you are arguing for FFVII. Mario Kart 64 released very soon after SM64 as well, even shorter time between releases then FFVII and other big games.
